How to Make Homemade Paneer | Step by Step Recipe

Paneer is easy to make at home and when made is fresh and delicious This was my Mom's idea and I executed it. The outcome was "delicious fresh paneer"

~* Ingredients *~
Milk - 500 ml
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp / vinegar

The Making: Boil the milk and when it starts to boil add the lemon juice and keep on stirring till the whey & water starts separating.

Now pour the mixture into a muslin cloth and show it under running water. This is to remove the lingering lemon flavor.

Drain the excess water and hang this freely for 30 mins.

Now place a heavy bowl on top of the whey and leave it overnight.

Your fresh home made paneer is ready. You can cut them into cubes or crumble them and use for stuffing. I used this to make Paneer Aloo paratha which was delicious. Recipe of the parathas coming soon.
