Paneer Tikka Masala | Paneer Recipes

Turning home late yesterday, I was suprised to see my mom ready with the Chapathi dough... On enquiring came to know it was dumbo me who called her up midday and told her that I will prepare the side dish today.
Goddamn the work... its driving me out of my senses.
Rumbling through my fridge, I found out some paneer which is getting expired in another 8 days. So here I am with the paneer tikka recipe :)
Serves - 3 to 4Ingredients:
For the tikka:
Tomoto & Onion - 1 each (cut into cubes)
Panner - 100 gm (Cut into cubes)
Thick yoghurt - 1 tablespoon
Lime juice - 3- 4 drops
Oil
Chilli powder
For the masala:
Onions - 2 (finely diced)
Tomota puree - 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder - As needed
Garam Masala - As needed
Fresh Cream
Instructions:
Tikka:
Mix yoghurt, lime juice, chill powder and oil and mix well. Add the tomoto, onion and paneer cubes and allow it to marinate
Masala:
Pour 2-3 teaspoons of oil on a hot pan. Add cumin seeds when the oil is hot. Allow the cumin to crackle.
When done add the onions and a little salt and cook till glassy.
At this point add the ginger garlic paste and fry it well.
When ginger garlic paste is cooked, add in the tomatoes and cook well.
When done add the cumin + coriander + Chilli powder and fry it well till you see the oil oozing out.

Meanwhile drizzle a hot tawa with oil and drop the marinated paneer and onion cubes. Fry it till it is brown on one side. When done on one side, add the tomato cubes and turn it over. Fry till brown.
Have a look at the masala. It should be reduced well and browny.

Add water and thin it. Wait till the water boils.
Add the browned cubes and mix it.
When the masala comes to a boil, add garam masala and simmer it for 5 mins.

Once done, add the cream and mix it well and turn off the stove.

Lovely Paneer Tikka Masala ready... Goes well with chapathis...
