Bread & Peanut Butter fritters

Sometimes you think crazy when you have leftovers. You find some way to make a nice yummy dish out of the leftover, clubbing this and that.
I had three slices of wheat bread, my breadcrumbs storage container was full to the rim and the huss was not ready to have bread in any form at any cost. I was wildly glancing around my pantry, and the bread slices kept popping in my head when I the peanut butter bottle came into full focus. I sandwiched them and fried using a simple batter and it was all over alongside a cup of tea.

~*What U Need*~
All purpose flour / Maida – ½ cup
Sooji / Rava - 1 tbsp
Yellow food coloring – a pinch
Sugar – 3 tsp
Salt – a pinch
Baking powder – a pinch
Water – as needed
Oil – for frying

Bread slices - 3
Peanut Butter - as needed

How I made it:
Mix the maida, sooji and baking powder together. Add food coloring, sugar and salt and combine well. Add water and mix well and bring it to a semi-liquid consistency. Remove the edges of the bread slices. Cut into 4 pieces. Dab generous amount of peanut butter on to a piece and make a sandwich.

Repeat with remaining bread. Dip this in the flour mixture. Fry till golden brown. Pat the excess oil using tissue.

Serve as tea-time snack !!! It was crunchy and the salty peanut butter served as a yummy filling...

So thats it Folks...

Signs off!!!
