Chocolate Cappuccino And Awards

I am not allowed to drink cold items / eat ice creams :( in the night. So when I went to CCD sometime back, I was forced to take a hot drink. I think the recipe list for cold beverages in CCD is long and yummy while the hot ones seems to be only hot chocolate and some flavored coffees / teas. Yuckkkkk… I want something cold, chocolatey and yummy to my sweet tooth. But Mr.A was so strict in getting me any cold drinks as I had just recovered from a viral fever few days back… So scanned the entire menu card 5 times and finally drilled down to chocolate cappuccino.

First, my view abt the CCD coffee. I felt that the coffee was too strong to my palate and the chocolate flavor was not a hit. But I loved the combination of the strong coffee and chocolate.
So one day when I was idly preparing our evening coffee, I thought why not try the chocolate cappuccino. I flavored the milk with coffee and chocolate as I wished and the outcome suited my palate. The lingering chocolate-coffee combination was heaven.

~*Ingredients*~

Milk – 1 cup
Instant coffee powder – 2 tsp
Hershey’s chocolate syrup – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tsp (optional)

The Making:

Heat the milk till it boils.
Remove from heat and add the coffee powder and chocolate syrup and stir well.
Add sugar. This is purely optional as the chocolate syrup used imparts sweetness to the drink. I skipped this.
Serve piping hot.

Now onto the awards. I have been showered with lot many awards in the past 2 weeks. But as lazy as I am, I didn't post them... Thanks to all the fellow bloggers - Jay of Tasty appetite, RS of food4kidz and Prathima of Prats Corner.
